Taoyuan District has an average Tu Di Gong temple density of at least 7 temples per square kilometer, which tops the national charts. To promote the culture of the Tu Di Gong faith, the first floor of the Museum showcases various Shen Chiang (immortals) for the public to witness the splendid art of Shen Chiang culture. The exhibition space on the second and third floor houses a permanent exhibition that provides interactive exhibits and rich literary material for visitors to gain an understanding of the history of Taoyuan, Taiwan people's emotional attachment to the island, Miaokou (temple front) culture and the diverse manifestations of the Tu Di Gong faith. The fourth, fifth and sixth floors are dedicated to citizen art exhibit through different art forms. Now, the Tu Di Gong Culture Museum is also a base for artist residency project which accommodates creative artists and offers hands-on art-making activities from time to time.
