2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival Successfully Held in Taoyuan

2025 Taiwan Lantern Festival ended successfully in Taoyuan, attracting over 20.3 million people to attend and bringing NT$27 billions in economic output value for the city. The grand occasion successfully overcame challenges from the venue, and became a highlight in the history of Taiwan Lantern Festival.
Preparation and Execution
Taoyuan City Government successfully overcame the difficulty of finding a suitable venue for the event. To achieve the goal, the government established a project management office and formed a cross-departmental committee in March, 2024. During this period of time, it held 9 execution meetings and over 600 cross-departmental meetings to ensure that the 17-day event could run smoothly.
During the event, the government mobilized over 28,000 people to help with the event, including volunteers, traffic directors, security guards, paramedics and so on. Services and facilities for children, senior citizens and people with special needs were fortified to show the passion of Taiwan.
