Cool Off at Yunei River in Xiao Wulai This Summer
The Yunei River Water Play Area is the only officially designated and legal river play area in Taoyuan City, located between Bridge No. 1 and Bridge No. 2 of Yunei River. To ensure the safety of visitors, certified lifeguards are on duty during the open season.
Summer Water Play Area Opens in June
The Yunei River Water Play Area will be open to the public from June 1 to September 29, 2024. It will be open every Saturday and Sunday (including public holidays) in June and September, and throughout July and August (closed on Tuesdays). The opening hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM.
“2024 Xiao Wulai Water Safety Advocacy Camp” - Join Us in Promoting Water Safety
This advocacy camp is organized to educate the public on water safety and safe ways to enjoy water activities. It consists of two sessions on July 27, in the morning and afternoon, at the Xiao Wulai Scenic Area. Each session is limited to 50 participants, with online registration opening on July 8 (until full). Participants who complete the camp will receive exquisite gifts, and there will be prized quizzes and check-in gifts. Visitors are encouraged to participate.
Explore Xiao Wulai’s Hot Springs and Waterfall Geology at Yunei River, a Year-Round Tourist Destination
Located in the downstream area of the Dahan River tributary, Yunei River in Xiao Wulai features beautiful canyon landscapes and is especially famous for Xiao Wulai Waterfall, Longfeng Waterfall, Yunei River Water Play Area, Skywalk, Sky Rope Bridge, and Wind Moving Rock. Yunei River is the only legal river play area in Taoyuan, open for water activities from June to September each year. A wild hot spring along Yunei River is also available, making Yunei River an ideal year-round destination, with cool stream water in summer and warm hot springs in winter.
Luofu Cold and Hot Springs: Enjoy Cool Mountain Springs and Beauty Baths in Summer
While visiting the Xiao Wulai Scenic Area, visitors can also explore Luofu Hot Springs. The spa pool and children's pool use natural pure mountain spring water (at normal temperature), while other hot spring pools offer 100% sodium bicarbonate beauty baths (37-42 degrees Celsius). It offers the relaxation of both cool and warm springs in one visit, with various entrance discounts available until the end of September.
