The 2026 Taipei Tourism Expo was held from May 22 to 25 at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. At Booth B325, the Taoyuan Pavilion, themed "Pearl Coast," introduced attractions such as Guanxin Algal Reef, Caota Sand Dunes, and Conch Plaza, showcasing coastal ecology, natural scenery, and local culture. A curated map of featured shops also helped visitors discover coastal travel destinations.
The expo featured limited-time offers from Taoyuan's lodging partners, with homestay packages starting at 50% off. Hotels also offered accommodation vouchers and a buy-ten-get-one-free deal on buffet lunch coupons, while supplies lasted. On-site "Pearl Coast" interactive games gave visitors who completed designated tasks the chance to enter a draw for local gifts such as dried meat, puffed rice peanut candy, cold water bottles, and stationery.
Visitors who made a purchase at the Taoyuan Pavilion booth received a waterproof foldable travel bag and a travel-size toiletry set, with a bucket hat added for purchases of NT$ 1,500 or more. Over the four-day expo, Taoyuan promoted summer coastal travel through tourism information, lodging discounts, and interactive experiences.
The Taoyuan B&B Association coordinated the lodging discounts with local businesses, including Da Xi Lao Cheng Si Ji Xing Guan, Sinnan12 Homestay, Johnnie's Inn, Loving Farm, and Lingzhen Resort. Monarch Plaza Hotel also offered deluxe room vouchers and premium buffet lunch coupons. Behind the pavilion, a curated map of featured shops brought together distinctive coastal destinations and complemented the pavilion's themes of nature, culture, and sustainability, providing ideas for summer travel planning.
