In 2024, the delegation for the promotion of tourism formed by representatives from four cities in northern Taiwan visited Seoul, Korea for the first time. Over 100 representatives from the tourism promoted sightseeing in Taoyuan, Taipei, New Taipei City and Keelung in Seoul.

Initiative of “NEXT Travel 4 City”

The slogan for the event of “NEXT Travel 4 City” is “Tao Tai New Kee (The phrase is formed by the first characters of the four cities, and it sounds like “a magic place” in Korean).” The delegation visited Korea Tourism Organization, Korea Association of Travel Agents (KATA) and Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) to comprehend the preferences of Korean tourists and the trend of travel in Korea.

New Perspective Brought by Cross-regional Collaboration

The four cities broke the administrative boundary and cooperated for the first time to plan a five-day, four-night itinerary with popular tourist attractions included:
*Keelung: Admire ocean views and enjoy seafood.
*Taipei: Enjoy the fashionable look of the city.
*New Taipei City: Have fun in Nature with a biking tour.
*Taoyuan: Experience bungee jumping and other extreme sports.

*Along with an easy golf trip.
